3 Days in Koh Man Nork

The plan was for Tik to bring her Mum and sisters to Bangkok last weekend and for us to all enjoy a weekend at a relaxing resort in Kantchenaburi together. Sadly the area itself was named in a few weather warnings and Tik’s mum was quite concerned about it.

Instead, we forgot about Tik’s family and went to the most romantic island resort I could ever imagine.

I was lucky enough to have a day spent with Tik and both her sisters last week. Tik is the oldest of the three with Toon being about my age and Nong Mai reaching her 21st birthday last Saturday.

A Nice Big Snake in the Village

About 1am last night I was walking to the front of my village with my friend Eli. We saw 5 security guards acting a little suspiciously. as we got closer we discovered that they’d caught a nice meaty snake.

Since I returned from England I’ve been trying to budget my daily food spending to just 200 baht a day (just over 3 pounds). I’m amazed how easy this has been to do without me compromising on my way of life.
