About 1am last night I was walking to the front of my village with my friend Eli. We saw five security guards acting a little suspiciously. as we got closer we discovered that they’d caught a nice meaty snake.

I’m not much of a herpetologist but it was big, green and I think pretty dangerous. The snake was caught and taken away in a car.

I’ve lived in Sammakorn Village for 18 months now. I’ve once seen a dead snake and I’ve seen quite a number of water monitor lizards. Seeing this big mama today really made me appreciate how interesting life in Thailand can be.
