Our Last Day at the Greenery Resort April 11, 2006
Posted by Martin in : Thailand , trackbackOur last day was certainly the most intensive of the three. Tiks parents, aunt and middle sister (toon) left just before lunch time to return to Khon Kaen. Nong Mai stayed with us longer so she could enjoy the resorts activities. First on the list was paintball. We began with myself, Mark and Raquel on one team and Lisa, Nong Mai and Tik on the other.
Raquel’s game lasted as long as it took for her to shout for Mark three times before deciding that paintball wasn’t really for her. This left Mark an I facing the mercy of three ruthless females. Tik kept herself flat on the ground away from all the action with her gun aimed right for her enemy’s crotches. The game was fun although my first hit was a crotch-attack from Tik and the last one was a close-up neck shot from Nong Mai. The last shot left a heavy black bruise which stayed with me for over a week!
Despite Lisa’s constant complaints about the size and color of her bruises she was the first to suggest another game. We took a breather whilst Lisa and Nong Mai played in the Zorb Ball and then we had another game. Game two was a perfect opportunity to even the score with Lisa and I prodly placed a huge black bruise above her ankle. Tik came out from both games completely unscathed unlike myself Lisa and Mark who limped away sore.
We left later than expected. Tik dropped Nong Mai off at the bus stop so that she could return alone to Khon Kaen. The rest of us drive to Bangkok, returning in the late afternoon.
